What To Teach & How To Teach It
This course has two main sections over four Modules. The first two Modules cover what to teach puppies. The third and fourth Modules cover what all dogs should know.
You’ll learn why each item is important, how you can teach it and what pitfalls you might encounter. The course is taught mainly through videos but there are extensive accompanying notes you can download and keep.
Modules 1 and 2 cover the eight core things all puppies should learn.
Module 1 includes the ten rules to help owners choose a suitable puppy and how to prepare the home and garden and the first three key things every puppy needs to learn.
Module 2 covers the final five key things all puppies should learn, why they are important, how to train the puppy and what pitfalls you might encounter.
Module 3 covers two important things owners need to know, how to build a great relationship with your dog and how to teach a dog a cue. It also cover the first three important things all dogs should know.
Module 4 provides the whys and hows for the final five key things all dogs should know, and emphasises the need to address the vital element of generalising training through the three Ds. It also covers how to crest super-rewards and maintaining motivation in training.
